Use only pure mushroom
fruiting bodies
Many companies are using powdered mycelium grown on grain, which therefore has some filler of grain starch still in the extraction process. We only use pure fruiting bodies.
Are locally grown or
foraged mushrooms
Most large scale companies are importing from China. Even organically grown mushrooms are sprayed with fungicide when they are imported into Canada as per import regulations.

Step 1.
Full growing process from spores to petri plates, growing mycelium on whole oats grain spawn, transferred to pasteurized sawdust fruiting substrate.
Time frame: 8 - 16 weeks
Step 4.
Long slow hot water decoction with added dried mushrooms.
Time frame: 6 - 8 hours
Step 2.
Harvest fruiting bodies, clean & process, dry & store.
Time frame: 2 days
Step 5.
Strain and combine alcohol & water extractions into 50/50 mix - resulting in shelf stable 25% alcohol.
Time frame: 1 day
Step 3.
Grind fruiting bodies into powder and soak in 100 proof alcohol.
Time frame: 6 - 8 weeks

Bottle, label, package.
